The Yew Tree is a substantial and spacious care home set in a large, safe and secluded garden, situated in the heart of the Forest of Dean in the rural village of Blakeney, The home offers spacious accommodation of a high standard.
We provide high quality residential care to adults with learning disabilities with a particular focus on supporting people with complex needs.

The home offers a safe, friendly, warm and homely service, whose ethos is to empower individuals with independence, choice, rights and inclusion.
The home comprises of five ground floor bedrooms all with en-suite wet rooms, these rooms are suitable for individuals with physical / mobility disabilities .The first floor offers four bedrooms with en-suite facilities, these rooms are suitable for ambulant individuals who do not experience any mobility issues. The rooms are spacious and airy, and designed to enable an individual to personalise their own space.
Out and about
Local amenities are within walking distance of the home i.e. G.P, shops, public house, post office, church etc…
We are also within a few miles of other local towns and the city of Gloucester. The Yew Tree is easily accessible to the M4 Motorway, Gloucester, Cheltenham and Ross-on Wye.
Blakeney is situated near the A48 and easily accessible to the local bus services.
Donna has over 30 yrs experience supporting individuals with a wide range of learning disabilities including profound and multiple disabilities within residential, respite and domiciliary care settings; supporting individuals with a wide range of differing needs for e.g. learning / physical disabilities, epilepsy, autism spectrum disorder, mental health, communication difficulties and other complex needs.
